So I completely failed at Cliché and H/C bingo because they were just, I think, too much for me to take on in such a short time. I have to face the facts that I can't churn out fics as fast as I used to be able to. But that's okay, I think. I've signed up for Trope bingo, and I have until May 1st to get all the fics written, so that should be plenty of time. I'm hoping I'll be able to make at least a straight line bingo on this one.

I'm also starting second semester of college, which I hope to do much better in. I'm taking Sociology, General Psychology, Classical Mythology, and Comp II. Most of those sound interesting, so hopefully that'll work out. Aside from college, I've also taken on for this year the Goodreads 2013 Reading Challenge in which I've challenge myself to read 100 books, and the 365 Film Challenge for 2013 in which I've challenged myself to watch 365 movies. I'm going to take the 750words challenges on a monthly basis if I think I'm up to it. I'd like to be, because there's an award for having written every day for 500 days, which I will accomplish in about a year and a half hopefully if I can keep that up for an entire year, which I hope I can but I probably can't. Still, I'm going to try.

This means I'll be churning out a lot more fic and stuff I guess, hopefully? Hopefully my writing skills will also improve, I'm not sure. But hopefully. I'm still as big a fan of tea as ever, and currently I'm hugely into Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. So in love with them ugh. My favorite ships are any combination of Bilbo/Fili/Kili/Thorin in The Hobbit and in Lord of the Rings they're Aragorn/Legolas and Boromir/Faramir, though I've no qualms about any combination of the four. I just have a lot of Faramir feelings and I want him to be happy. I should note that I've been in the Lord of the Rings fandom for as long as I can remember, it's just that I've recently rediscovered my love for it and the ships. And I've simply... discovered my love for Boromir/Faramir, as last time I was into it enough to read fics about it obsessively I was still not down on incest shipping. Which has definitely changed.

Writing and Other Things

I'm starting to actually feel inspired again, which is wonderful. Writing isn't a chore I have to slog through, it flows more easily. Let's see how long that'll last. Sigh. But really, I'm using this wonderful website that encourages you to write 750 words every day. This has lead to me writing a lot more, and I have a lot of ideas that I'm working on. I'm in the middle of at least three fics right now, and have ideas for a few more.

I'm also going to see The Hobbit today, aw yiss. I'm leaving in about an hour and a half. I'm really really excited for this movie, you have no idea. In the meantime I'm hoping to write some and stuff. Yeah. I'm going to, hopefully, get a lot of writing done between now and the end of December so that I can actually succeed in Cotton Candy Bingo and H/C Bingo. I might even sign up for Kink Bingo when the time comes...

Semester is over, so that's a relief and will also allow me to write a lot. In summary, writing. Also the Holiday Season.
